Dr.Pinkeshkumar G Sutariya has completed his B.Sc. from Smt. B.C.J Science College, Khambhat affiliated to Gujarat University. He has completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry School of Sciences, Gujarat University. Then he joined as a Lecturer at Indus University from 1/04/2013 to 10/08/2014. He has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Bhavans College Dakor, affiliated to Sardar Patel University from 11/08/2014 to 03/01/2022. He has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat since January 2022. Dr.Pinkesh Sutariya has published 41 international research articles having 806 citations and 18 h-index. He has published 12 international, 02 state, and 02 international book chapters. He has completed one major research project funded by DST-SERB under the scheme of Startup Research Grant of Rupees 23.98 lakhs from 2016 to 2019. At present, he is working on three major research projects, one which is funded by DST-SEED under the scheme of young scientists and technologists of rupees 48.44 lakhs for period of 2020-2023, second one which GUJCOST funds under the scheme of STI policy of rupees 43.35 lakhs as Co-PI and third research project is sanctioned by GSBTM under the scheme of Bioremiadtion network program of rupees 28.70 lakhs. He has received more than 1.4 cr grants to date for his research work. He cleared the GSET examination in December 2019 from M S University Baroda. He has received seven best research paper awards at International, National, and State conferences. His thrust areas of research work are Supramolecular Chemistry, Fluorescence Sensors, and Liquid Crystal. He is actively involved in peer review for following journals: Analytical Methods, RSC Advances, The Journal of Organic Chemistry, Sustainable Chemistry and Pharmacy, Journal of Photochemistry & Photobiology, A: Chemistry, Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Analytica Chimica Acta, Journal of Materials Science, Sensors and Diagnostic, Journal of Fluorescence.
